This spring started out with a lovely punch of color! It's always welcome after a long winter in the mountains. I wish you could smell these flowers. I've always liked the name of my friend Ashley's business -- Tinge. Just a touch of color. Some people overlook it, but people like Ashley and I over-look it as in...stare at it...tilt our heads and smile at it...then let out a gleeful scream because, yes, the colors are just soooo good! See, how that perfectly rosy, but terra cotta colored zinnia brings out that tiny tinge of color in the leaves? No? You were captivated by the cafe au lait dahlia weren't you? Those will get you too. But that tiny tinge in the leaf made me forget about everything else...even the dahlia...and I got lost in the flowers again...
